Hello,
In this GPT Prompt Tester v1.0.0 update,
we introduced a new way to preserve and continue your work,
along with an updated testing environment based on the latest GPT models.
The core of this update is not just about adding new features.
It is about creating a structure where your experiment results can be saved and carried forward.
Main Updates
1. Data Backup / Restore Added (Pro)
You can now back up the work data created in GPT Prompt Tester and restore it whenever needed.
This is not just about saving settings.
It preserves actual work assets such as:
- Prompt run history
- Eval results
- Projects / Templates
- Writing data
- Image Maker results and presets
- OpenAI usage records
In other words, you can now bring back the entire workflow you have built inside the app.
Data Backup
Why it matters
Until now, prompt experiment results stayed only inside the app.
Now you can:
- continue your work even after moving to a new PC
- restore your previous state after reinstalling the app
- keep your work data stored separately for safety
This changes experiments from something temporary into something you can manage as an asset.

What this version includes
- Separate folders for backup and restore
- Comparison between current app data and backup data
- Pre-checks before restore to review possible changes
- Restore disabled while auto backup is active to prevent conflicts
- Path collision prevention across backup, restore, and image storage
In particular, the restore flow was designed so that you can check in advance what data may change before applying it.

Data Restore
Restore location for Image Maker generated/reference images
Image files are restored separately from the main app data
into the gpt-restore folder under the currently configured Image Maker storage path.
This structure is designed to prevent image data corruption or accidental overwriting.
2. GPT Model Update
This update adds the GPT-5.4 model lineup.
- gpt-5.4-mini
- gpt-5.4-nano
Existing models remain available,
and the default model has been changed to gpt-5.4-mini.
The GPT-5.4 lineup is designed around:
- faster response speed
- more stable output quality
- better cost efficiency
That means the same prompt can now be tested in an environment that is faster and more consistent.
For more information about the models, please refer to the official OpenAI documentation.

What this update means
v1.0.0 is more than a feature update.
- Your work data can now be protected
- Your experiments can now be continued
- The app experience is moving from temporary use to long-term continuity
In particular, the backup/restore feature is not just a convenience feature.
It is a core feature that helps users manage their data as real assets.
GPT Prompt Tester will continue to grow
beyond a simple testing tool
into a structure where experimentation, accumulation, reuse, and expansion are all possible.
Thank you.
