GPT-5.6 is the latest GPT model family, with enhanced capabilities for complex reasoning, software development, professional knowledge work, and tool use.
In Prompt Playground, you can choose from three models based on your task requirements and budget.

The highest-performance model, suitable for complex reasoning, coding, and advanced professional analysis. - GPT-5.6 Terra
A versatile general-purpose model designed to balance strong performance with cost efficiency. - GPT-5.6 Luna
A fast and economical model suited to repetitive tasks and high-volume processing.
All three models can be used for both standard prompt execution and Web Search. They also support the same multi-panel comparison, history storage, usage tracking, and estimated cost features available with existing models.
Expanded Reasoning Options
GPT-5.6 models support a higher level of Reasoning Effort.
When a model returns a Reasoning Summary, you can review it in both the individual result view and the panel comparison view.
A Reasoning Summary is a model-generated overview intended to help review the response. It may not be available for every model or request configuration.
Improved Output Token Settings
The Max output tokens setting has been updated to reflect the supported range of each model.
When you switch models or restore saved settings, the value is automatically adjusted so that it remains within the selected model’s supported limit.
Improved Multi-Panel Execution View
Execution status indicators have been improved to make it easier to identify which panel is currently running when multiple panels are used at the same time.

Writing Studio Stability Improvements
The possibility of the same draft-generation request being triggered more than once has been reduced.
This helps prevent unnecessary API calls and duplicate entries in usage records.
Additional Interface Improvements
The Image Maker style preset detail view has been simplified for a cleaner and more focused experience.
